As part of my graduating year at the Arts University Bournemouth, I was working in a team with 6 other wonderful people to make our Directors concept a reality.
For this project it was my job as the lead Creature Designer for the film to conceptualise and design Hubris' huge slimy, tar-like, trash filled monster. Our director wanted the creature to have a human like, skeletal appearance that held itself together with black gloop and items of trash and debris.
Once we finalised the design and finished the pre-production, I continued as an Animator and cleanup artist, helping to work out how to bring the characters and effects to life and keep them on model.
