Vikki Hesse
Hello! I’m Vikki, a British illustrator, storyboard artist and animator.
With a degree in Animation production and 18 months experience working as a professional Graphic designer, illustrator and animator at a small video company, I can offer a range of techniques and skills and relish in trying new things.
During my time with Majestical, I lead their illustration work. Unlock (charity) was one of numerous clients during my time there. They commissioned a series of illustrations to represent the stories they wanted to share during their "Big Christmas Give". The charity surpassed their targets and were impressed with their commissions, resulting in a feature for their case study for the "Christmas Challenge 2022 Awards".
I have a passion for all things animated, be it film, cartoons or even music videos. I love looking at how the stories I admire work so well and research how I could apply that story knowledge when working on my own projects.
Music is a huge source of inspiration for my work! I have made multiple storyboards for music video concepts in my down time, the most recent being “Meteor Shower”, which I collaborated with my sister on, she suggested the song choice and had written a script for the visuals, which I then designed and storyboarded.
